The holotype of Cecropterus (Thorybes) oaxacensis Grishin, 2023

The original description illustrated the holotype of Cecropterus (Thorybes) oaxacensis Grishin, 2023 (type locality Mexico: Oaxaca, Tlalixtac de Cabrera, Hwy 175, ca. 5 mi north of Oaxaca City ) when it was pinned through its side, unspread ( Zhang et al. 2023b). Here , we use this opportunity and publish

photographs of the holotype after it has been dissected and spread, to facilitate recognition of this specimen ( Fig. 52). The holotype is in the University of Texas Insect Collection, Austin, TX, USA .
