Alsine sect. Tryphane Fenzl
Plantas perennes. Hojas linear-subuladas o setáceas, agudas, trinerves. Sépalos patentes en la antesis, no esclerificados, con 3 nervios todos semejantes, más estrechos que los espacios internervales, los laterales muy aparentes y separados del central. Pétalos de igual o mayor longitud que los sépalos, muy anchos, bruscamente contraídos en uña corta. Semillas ruguloso-tuberculadas.
