Notes: Neobisium carcinoides is the most widespread pseudoscorpion species of the family Neobisiidae in Europe ( WPC 2024). It is a eurytopic species that tends to be abundant mainly in leaf litter and soil ( Christophoryová 2013; Christophoryová et al. 2016; ČervenÁ et al. 2020b). Its incidental occurrence was also recorded in composts ( Christophoryová et al. 2017c), Malaise traps ( KrajčovičovÁ & ChristophoryovÁ 2014), or bird nests on the ground and in the bush ( Christophoryová et al. 2011a). ŠťÁhlavský & Dolejš (2019) list one female and one tritonymph from the collection of arachnologist František Miller, where only Bratislava is mentioned as a sampling site, without more detailed faunistic data. Despite the frequent occurrence of the species in Bratislava , 23 new sampling sites have been added to its distribution. For the first time it was collected from a dead mouflon, and both adult and nymphal stages were caught.
