Material examined. 1♂ 1♀. Vietnam: DONG NAI: 70 km NE Saigon [= Ho Chi Minh], Ma De , VIII.1994, Belyaeva leg. [1♂ IBSS] ; BA RIA-VUNG TAU: Côn Đ ảo Island , 8°41'N l 06°37'E, 6.IV.1987, V. Kuznetsov leg. [1♀ IBSS] .

Identification source. Voucher specimen ( Lelej 1996c).

Previous record. This species was recorded from Ba Ria-Vung Tau by Lelej (1996c).

Distribution. Malaysia. Philippines. Vietnam: Dong Nai *, Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

Occurrence in Vietnam. April, August. Southern Vietnam lowland dry forests and Southeast Indochina dry evergreen forests ecoregions.

Sex association. This species was described from both sexes, but the evidence of this association was not indicated.

Remarks. Photos of the holotype of this species are available in National Museum of Natural History (2025).
