Remarks
Lagar (1952) indicates the deposit of the “Tipos” in his private collection, reporting the collection of 24 specimens from the type locality on 30 December 1951. Ten specimens of the type series are deposited in the FLC ( Fresneda & Salgado, 2016) and a further 12 have been located in the entomological collection of the MCNB (corresponding to the specimens cited by Escolà, 1969). All these specimens have red hand-written paratype labels, although no holotype was designed in the original publication ( Lagar, 1952).
In the MCNB collection there are deposited five specimens (four of which recently donated, three by X. Bellés and another one from the Lagar collection itself) also labelled as paratypes, with the same collection information except for the date (3 February 1952). In the FLC there are 73 specimens with the same information cited as paratypes by Fresneda & Salgado (2016). Belonging to this series and with a red hand-written label with the indication “ Paratipo ” we have located a single male in the MNCNM collection, as well as two other specimens deposited in the CJC (J. Comas, pers. comm.). According to J. Fresneda (pers. comm.), before the publication of the description only specimens from the two dates indicated existed. All the specimens dated 3 February 1952 that we have located bear paratype labels, most are deposited in the FLC and those from the JCC and XBC were donated to them by Lagar himself; all of which indicates that they probably form part of the type series, despite not being cited as such in the description .
