Type locality

Avenc d’Olèrdola [original citation: “Prov. de Barcelona:Avenc d’Olérdola, situado junto al Castillo de Sant Miquel, término municipal de Olérdola, part. judicial de Villafranca del Panadés”].

Type material

Holotype ♂: MZB 78-2039, type loc., 11-II-1951, F. Español & A. Lagar leg.

Paratype (Allotype) ♀: MZB 78-2040, same data as holotype .

Remarks

Lagar (1952) wrote of the type series: “Tipos del Avenc d’Olérdola en el Museo de Ciencias Naturales de Barcelona; un paratipo hembra, en mi colección” [Types from Avenc d’Olérdola in the MCNB; one female paratype in my collection]. We believe that the author used the expression “Tipos” to designate the ♂ holotype and ♀ allotype, as their respective labels suggest. The two types deposited in the MCNB are referred to by Escolà (1969). The type series is completed by the ♀ paratype, currently deposited in the FLC ( Fresneda & Salgado, 2016).
