Notes:— A number of specimens at US have determinations reading “ Triplaris inaequalis Dugand ”. Dugand designates some of these specimens as type specimens for this new name ( US 3223951, US 3223960, US 3223960). We were unable to locate a publication and description of this name and species concept. Brandbyge (1984) acknowledges the existence of this name and includes T. inaequalis Dugand within his own concept of T. dugandii Brandbyge.
