Source. In the binomen “ Prostoma Herouardi ” by Oxner (1908: 1, figs 1–3); cf. Article 32.5.2.5 (initial upper-case letter must be replaced with a lower-case letter).
Type locality. Roscoff , France .
Etymology. Masculine noun in the genitive singular, after the holothurian specialist Edgard Joseph Émile Hérouard (1858–1932), who in 1902 became sous-directeur de la Station biologique de Roscoff ( Hansson 1997).
Remarks. Now Tetrastemma herouardi ( Oxner, 1908) ( Marine Biological Association 1957: 107).
