Source. In the binomen “ Prostoma brunnea ” by Friedrich (1935: 16).

Type locality. Kiel Bay , Germany .

Etymology. Latin adjective, - us, - a, - um, meaning “brown”.

Remarks. The spelling has been mandatorily changed according to Articles 31.2 and 34.2 (gender agreement). Now Tetrastemma brunneum ( Friedrich, 1935) ( Friedrich 1955: 168) .
