Type locality
Cova del Patracó [original citation: “Cueva del PATRACÓ, en el término municipal de Esparraguera, (Prov. de Barcelona)”].
Type material
Syntypes: MZB 78-1189 / MZB 78-1193, MZB 78-2713 / MZB 78-2723 (5 ♂♂, 11 ♀♀), type loc., 6-IX-1922, R. Zariquiey leg. (ex coll. R. Zariquiey).
Remarks
Zariquiey (1922b) refers to the collection of “varios ejemplares” [various specimens] but gives no further details nor indicates where they are deposited. We have located 16 specimens of the type series in the MCNB collection, all of which have red labels printed with the inscription “ Typus ”. There are an unknown number of specimens of the type series deposited in the Bioespeologica collection ( Jeannel, 1924a). In box 73 of the MNHNP’s general collection we have found at least one specimen identified as a cotype.
