Type locality

Grallera de Estadilla [original citation: “l’aven dit « la Grallera de Estadilla », situé dans la sierra de la Carrodilla, près d’Estadilla, partido de Tamarite-de-Litera, provincia de Huesca (Aragon). Cette grotte dépend du bassin du rio Cinca”] .

Type material

Syntypes: MZB 78-1316 (1 ♂), type loc., 2-VII-1911, R. Jeannel & E. G. Racovitza leg. (ex coll. R. Zariquiey).

Remarks

The type series consists of 18 specimens originally deposited in the Biospeologica collection ( Jeannel, 1911a). We have found in the MNHNP general collection (box 73) the four specimens of the type series cited by Fresneda & Salgado (2016) who transcribe the inscriptions on their labels. Specimen MZB 78-1316 has almost identical collection labels, as well as a label with the inscription “ TYPE ” printed in red letters on one label. This specimen also has a label with the determination “ Speophilus (Trapezodirus) Estadillae Jeann., R. JEANNEL det.”. In the MNCNM collection (box 27) we have found a ♂ labelled as a cotype, which also has identical labels to the specimen from the MCNB .
