Remarks

Español (1945) established as “Tipo” (= holotype, article 73.1.1.) a male from Cueva de Ostalaza and also examined an unknown quantity of specimens from this and the other quoted caves. He does not specify where the specimens of the type series are deposited but does state that the holotype and ♀ allotype are deposited in the collection of the former Instituto Español de Entomología, today known as the MNCNM. Along with these specimens (box 24), we have found 22 paratypes. The specimens in the MCNB collection have red labels with the inscription “ Paratype ” hand-written by Español .
