Type material

Paratypes: MZB 78-1183 (1 ♀), type loc., campaign VIII-1945, J. M. Thomas, R. Margalef, J. Mateu & F. Español leg.

Remarks

Español (1945) established as a “Tipo” (= holotype, Article 73.1.1.) a ♂ but neither establishes how many specimens there are in the type series nor where it is deposited. Nevertheless, with regard the description of the male antennae, the author mentions “los tres ejemplares examinados de ese sexo” [the three specimens of this sex examined], the remaining specimens being females. The holotype, identified by a red label, is deposited in the MNCNM collection, together with seven other specimens from the type locality. All but one (with date 18 August 1945) have a collection date of 21 August 1945 (the same as the paratype in the MCNB) but none are identified as belonging to the type series .
