― Valid ( Plate 1893, as Oncis ; Hoffmann 1928, as Oncis ; Labbé 1934a, as Semperella ). Labbé (1934a) also suggests that Semperella glabrum could refer to the same species as Scaphis lata , in which case the later would be a junior synomym.
