Glandular-pubescent throughout; stems c. 60 cm, erect, rigid, simple or sparingly branched, densely leafy. Lower leaves 20-50x 4-12 mm, oblong-lanceolate, entire. Bracts narrowly elliptical, equalling or exceeding the calyx. Calyx 17-20 mm; lips divided to their base into oblong-linear, subequal teeth. Corolla c. 30 mm, purple. Capsule included in the calyx. Scrub. Mountains of E. Greece (Thessalia'). Gr. (S. Anatolia).
