Remarks: Described from a single female specimen; material in MZUSP comprised of a female adult specimen missing right midtarsus; right wing and posterior margin left wing are damaged. The label epithet ‘ Rogenhofera nigra ’ is an unavailable name and probably erroneous.
Nomenclatural status: Valid as Cuterebra lopesi ( Guimarães, 1990) .
