Material examined. Turkey: Amasia [Amasya Prov.], 1 male (holotype) (leg. Mann) (det. Fieber) (det. Br.v.W. as Poecilimon concinna Fieb. ) (det. Ramme as concinnus ); Amasia, 1 male (leg. Mann) (det. Ramme as P. concinnus ) ( NMW).

Remarks. The author of this species has been cited as Brunner von Wattenwyl up to date.The original description of this species was presented for the first time in Brunner von Wattenwyl (1878: 41). However, its description and drawings were actually created by Fieber ( Fig. 65 ). This fact is evident in a historical correspondence from Brunner ( Fig. 66 ), which was translated by Dr. Susanne Randolf (NMW) for this study. Before his death, Fieber, who both described and illustrated the species, sent his work to Brunner. In his publication ( Brunner, 1878: 41, 42), Brunner acknowledged Fieber as the author of the species but published Fieber’s description (without the figures). Brunner also briefly noted this situation in footnotes on related pages ( Brunner, 1878: 39 and 1882: 258). Therefore, the correct author of this species should be recognized as Fieber.

Two males with the same label occur in the collections of the NMW, but one male was used in the description. Therefore, the male determined by Fieber is the holotype of this species. The other male is not a type.

For the same reason, the authors of the below species are Fieber, instead of Brunner von Wattenwyl.
