Etymology.
From Jiulonghe River, the geographic locality where the type specimen was collected.
Typus.
CHINA • Yunnan Province, Qujing City, Luoping County, Jiulonghe River ; 25°32.86'N, 104°29.31'E; on submerged decaying stem of unknow species of Bambusoideae; 15 Jul 2023; W. P. Wang S-5133 & S-5134 ( holotype HKAS 136944 , ex-type culture KUNCC 23-15577 ) GoogleMaps .
Notes.
The name P. jiulongheense is based on N. triseptatum ( Cao et al. 2025) , but the epithet ‘ triseptatum ’ is unavailable in this genus due to prior valid publication of P. triseptatum ( Matsushima 1975; = Dactylaria triseptata (Castañeda and Kendrick 1991 )) . Therefore, a new name is proposed for N. triseptatum .
