Material examined. Tajikistan: West Pamir , Karateghin , Altin-Masar , 2800 m, 20.9.1928, 1 male (holotype), West Pamir, Karateghin, Dschailgan, 1850 m, 8.10.1928, 1 male (paratype), West Pamir, Karateghin, Mukur-Tal, 2500 m, 1 female (allotype) (all leg. W. F. Reinig) ( MfN) .

Remarks. The type material in the collections of MfN was studied. The female subgenital plate and ovipositor, the tegmina in both sexes, are different from the nominotypical subgenus, and they are typical characteristics of Squamiana ( Ünal 2006: 172–175, 2018: 9).
