Type: — E. Ule 2569 ( holotype B, destroyed [image F!]).
Lectotype (here designated):— BRAZIL. [ Minas Gerais]: Ouro Preto, “Serra de Ouro Preto,” 1892, E. Ule 2569 ( R000090093 !).
Notes: —The protologue of P. hypoglauca indicates that that the holotype, E. Ule 2569, was at the Berlin-Dahlem herbarium ( B). However, this specimen was destroyed in the fire of 1943 (Hiepko 1987). A photograph of the holotype was deposited in the herbarium of the Field Museum ( F) but does not show appropriate detail to serve as the lectotype.
