Parachilota ruficeps progrediens: Reynolds & Cook 1976: 159 ; BMNH; SAMC.

Type locality. WC, Wellington area: Observation Peak, near Bain's Kloof, in wet moss by stream. This site ‘is only few miles south of the Bain’s Kloof Pass …’ (Pickford 1973: 395).

Distribution. Known only from the type locality, close to the sites of P. ruficeps ruficeps , all from north-east proximity of Cape Peninsula.
