Material examined. CHINA, Yunnan Province: 1♂, Yexianggu, Xishuangbanna , 762 m, 20.VII.2014, leg. Wei Guan, Xiuchun Wang & Shurong Liu, slide No. YS 17128 .

Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 6 ) wingspan 16.0 mm. This species is superficially similar to N. metalychna ( Meyrick, 1935) , but it can be distinguished from the latter in the male genitalia by the semicircular uncus and the valva with rounded apex distinctly narrower than the base ( Fig. 18 ); in N. metalychna , the uncus is sub-pentagonal and the flatly truncate apex of the valva is nearly as wide as the base.

Distribution. China ( Yunnan), Thailand.

Notes. This species is recorded for the first time in China.
