Records: Amsel (1933); Halperin & Sauter (1992).

General distribution: Subendemic of the Levant. Jordan and Iran. Distribution in Israel: Sea of Galilee area, Jordan Valley and Dead Sea area.

Period of flight in Israel: March–May.

Host plants: Unknown. Halperin and Sauter (1992) reported the species in association with Moringa peregrina ( Moringaceae ) in 'En Gedi.
