Distribution & Ecology — Justicia lolioides var. lolioides is endemic to Angola where it is recorded from Malange province. It is only known from the two original syntypes; Welwitsch recorded it from ‘moist, hot wooded parts of Mata de Mutollo’ ( Hiern 1900: 822).
