Macrobiotus julietae de Barros, 1942
( Table 1 View TABLE 1 )
The species was originally described as a variety of Minibiotus intermedius ( Plate, 1888) , and it was erected to species level by Ramazzotti and Maucci (1983). The original description ( de Barros 1942) reported the presence of a narrow buccal tube slightly curved before the pharynx (character 8). Ramazzotti and Maucci (1983) stated that the peribuccal lamellae are absent. The presence of the characters 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10 was reported in the original description and/or original drawings ( de Barros 1942). The egg processes are similar to those of M. intermedius .
