Diagnosis. This species resembles L. cetacea in having the pygofer relatively elongate and without processes but is distinguishable by the elongate, slender, dorsally bent aedeagus with a pair of anterior flanges near the apex.
Description. Body length of male 6.0– 6.1 mm, female 6.6–7.4 mm. Head in dorsal view with crown slightly longer medially than next to eye, 1.7× wider at base than medial length. Male pygofer ~4.6× longer than maximum height, without ventral processes. Subgenital plate extended approximately to midlength of pygofer, laterally convex basal section as long as concave distal section. Style relatively long and slender, preapical lobe obtusely angulate, apex slender, digitiform, curved laterad. Aedeagus with dorsal apodeme relatively short and very slender, somewhat broadened dorsad in lateral view forming acute angle with dorsal margin of shaft; shaft elongate, tubular, straight and gradually tapered over most of length, abruptly bent dorsad at distal third, with pair of rounded anterolateral flanges extended to apex; gonopore preapical between flanges. Female sternite VII wider than long, lateral margins convexly tapered, posterior margin unevenly convex, slightly indented in middle and with submarginal arcuate brown macula
Etymology. The species name refers to the elongate aedeagal shaft.
