Glabrous, glaucous perennial; stems 10-35 cm, procumbent to ascending, freely branched with usually strongly patent branches, leafy up to inflorescence. Leaves 7-13 x 5-9 mm, ovate to elliptical, acute, some verticillate, some alternate. Racemes up to 4(-5) cm, rather lax; pedicels 1-4 mm, usually about equalling bracts. Calyx 1 -7-3 mm; lobes oblong to lanceolate, subacute, subequal. Corolla 11-14 mm, yellow; spur 4-6 mm. Capsule 2-5-3 mm. Seeds 1 -2-1-5 mm, oblong-reniform, rugulose, black, without distinct angles or flanges. Open habitats; calcicole. • S. C. & S.E. Russia, E. Ukraine. Rs (C, E).
