Holotype female in NMSA (not seen).
Diagnosis. Dorsocentrals 2+3; fore tibia without a posterior seta; mid femur with 2 preapical setae; mid tibia with 2 posterior setae; lower katepisternal seta closer to the posterior one than to the anterior one; haltere yellow.
Notes. This runs to couplet 28 of Emden’s (1951) key, but Zielke does not give any characters that would enable it to go further (such as length of aristal plumes and width of parafacial).
