Beak of achene more than 2-4 mm. S.E. Europe. (Anatolia, Caucasus.)
L. quercina var. integrifolia (Bogenh.) Bischoff ( L. chaixii Vili. , L. quercina subsp. chaixii (Vili.) Čelak. ), differs from subsp. (a) only in its undivided cauline leaves and occurs almost throughout its range.
