Life form:—Shrub or Climber.
Habitat:— Araucaria Forest and Subtropical Highland Grasslands , growing in sandstone outcrops, limestone outcrops, banks of the tributaries of the Tibagi River, and in forests at the base of the Devonian escarpment. The elevation records range from 840 to 1180 m a.s.l.
