122. Ficus horquetensis Chodat. Bull. Soc. Bot. Genève , sér. 2, 11: 255 (1920 [1919]). TYPE:— PARAGUAY. Near Horqueta, 1914, R. H. Chodat s.n. (lectotype, designated here: G–00307294 [digital image!]).

Nomenclatural notes:— Chodat (1920) described this taxon but did not designate a type or herbarium. Berg & Villavicencio (2004) cited Chodat s.n. in G as the “ holotype ”, but since this happened after 1 January 2001 and they did not use the term “designated here” or an equivalent statement as required by Art. 7.11, their citation did not constitute an effective designation of a lectotype. We designate G00307294 as the lectotype because it represents the most complete and diagnostic specimen.
