General distribution. Endemic to Hispaniola.

Distribution in the DR. Widespread throughout the country ( Fig 1. D ).

Habitat. Elevation 100–1740 m. An open environment species, much more common in dry forests.

Host plants. Larval stages and host plants unknown.
