Leaves 10- 40 x 1-3 cm, oblong, narrowed at the base and at the subacute to rounded apex; petiole 2-10 cm, covered, like the lamina, with brown fimbriate scales. Epiphytic in Ericetum azoricae. Açores. Az. (Tropical Asia and America; Réunion; Madeira.)
