Tubers absent. Stems very sparsely hairy below, otherwise glabrous (rarely puberulent in inflorescence), with few, short branches. Leaves shortly cuneate at base, palmatisect, the segments elongate. Bracts all linear and entire. Perianth-segments with a tuft of hairs at the apex, otherwise glabrous (rarely pilose outside). Carpels glabrous (rarely puberulent). Seeds winged at angles. • C.
