Cryptocephalus flavicinctus Jacoby, 1892: 892 (type locality: Carin Cheba); 1908: 202; Clavareau, 1913: 149 (catalogue).

Syn.: Cryptocephalus pallidilabris Pic, 1930: 2 (type locality: Tonkin); Medvedev, 2002: 252 (as synonym of Cryptocephalus flavicinctus )

Material examined. CHINA: Yunnan province: 1 male, Xishuangbanna, Nabanhe nature reserve , 11. VI. 2012, coll. Zhiming Ma ( IZ-CAS); 1 female, Xishuangbanna, Xiaomengyang , 6. VII. 1957, coll. Lingchao Zang ( IZ-CAS) ; 1 female, Xishuangbanna, Menghun , 1. VI. 1958, coll. unknown ( IZ-CAS) ; 1 female, Xishuangbanna, Mengzhe , 7. VII, 1958, coll. Zhishen Chen ( IZ-CAS) .

Measurements. BL = 7.25 mm, BW = 4.39 mm, HL = 1.97 mm, HW = 2.03 mm, PL = 1.98 mm, PW = 3.90 mm, EL = 5.05 mm, AL = 2.47 mm, AW = 0.63 mm, SL = 1.12 mm.

Distribution. China (Yunnan); Vietnam; Birma.
