Holotype: Ditsong NM. Type locality: Gamkaberg N.R; 30km WSW of Oudshoorn . MPT: montane slopes. Host ant: unrecorded. Taxonomy: Samples of this taxon are reassigned from C. nigricans as C. zwartbergae rubrescens stat. nov.

Conservation status: LC – Ex Rare.
