Holotype: NHM, London. Type locality: Muizenberg Vlei .
Forewing with twelve veins. Larvae have unusually long tubercle casings to their TOs; a characteristic shared with C. pyroeis . Host ants Crem. gallicola and Crem. peringueyi and host plants Roepera species ( Zygophyllaceae ).
