Ceratopriomorphus humeralis Pic, 1922: 21 .
Syntypes. 2 males, ‘ BRAZIL, São Paulo’, det. Pic ( MNHN) .
Diagnosis. Similar to following C. piceus , differs in light brown pronotal sides and in shorter phallobase.
Redescription. Whole body dark brown, only lateral margins and posterior angles of pronotum light brown ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1–3 ). Distance between eyes 1.5× longer than maximal eye diameter. Maxillary and labial palpi dark brown. Antennomere 3 1.4× shorter than 4 ( Fig.8 View Figures 4-8 ). Pronotum ( Fig. 5 View Figures 4-8 ) twice wider than long. Elytra 3.5× longer than wide in humeral portion. Male genitalia ( Figs. 11–12 View FIGURES 9–14 ) with phallus tapered distally, parameres as long as 2/5 of phallus, phallobase as long as parameres. Body length: 4.7 mm, humeral width: 1.1 mm.
