(3.3) Candolleomyces iqbalii complex
Notes:— In the ITS-only phylogeny ( Fig. 4B View FIGURE 4 ), one collection of ours, three collections labeled as Candolleomyces iqbalii , and two collections labeled as Cd. punjabensis (Nom. ined.) established a monophyletic group without significant support. None of these collections has four-locus data. This group is referred to as Candolleomyces iqbalii complex in this study, characterized by usually slender basidiomata with brownish pileus, and a terrestrial to lignicolous habit. Based on the recent scale of species delimitation within Candolleomyces in academia, one undescribed species appears to exist within this complex.
