This species ranges from Florida through the Caribbean and Central America to Brazil and Paraguay ( Brown 2008). A single male was reported from Honduras by Brown (2008). The larval food plants are Phyllanthus acidus Skeels and P. niruri L. ( Euphorbiaceae ) ( Brown 2008).
