Stems up to 15 cm. Leaflets oblong to lanceolate, sparsely hairy. Calyx 8-10 mm, with sparse, ascending, white hairs and more numerous short, appressed, black hairs. Corolla bicolorous, the standard purplish or violet, the wings and keel paler or whitish; standard entire at apex. 2n — 32. • W. part of the Balkan peninsula, extending to Trieste.
