Type material (not examined). Holotype ♂: CHINA, Taiwan Province : Taichung City, Anma-shan; 2200 m; 19 October 1989 ; H. Ono leg. (in NSMT). Paratype: 1♀, Taichung City , Anma-shan; elev. 2100 m; 20 October 1989 ; H. Ono leg. 1♀, Nantou County, Meifeng ; 29 May 1980 ; H. Makihara leg.

Remarks. This species is transferred to Asiopisinus gen. nov. due to similarity of the male palp and epigyne to those in the generotype. This species might potentially be conspecific with A. baoshanensis ( Liu, Irfan & Peng, 2019) comb. nov. or A. implicatus (Liang, Liu, Yin & Yu, 2025) comb. nov..
