Diagnosis. Ancylosis citrinella is characterized by the golden-yellow forewing with a white costal band ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 6–13 ); in the male genitalia by the large subtriangular uncus nearly twice as long as its basal width, the distally curved gnathos about 1/2 as long as the uncus, and the narrowly elongate and subparallel valva with length 8 times the width ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 14–18 ); in the female genitalia by the anteriorly slightly inflated corpus bursae with large cone-shaped signa scattered from posterior 1/6 to near the anterior margin ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 19–23 ).

Distribution. China (Ningxia), Algeria, Turkmenistan.

Remarks. This species is recorded from China for the first time.
