TYPE:— TURKEY. Anatolia occidentale: Kizilkadag (Korkuteli), 21 June 1998, S. Brullo & P. Pavone s.n. (holotype CAT) .
Etymology: —The specific epithet derives from the prefix neo -, meaning new, and denticulatum , the epithet originally used by Brullo & Salmeri (2021).
Distribution:— Allium neodenticulatum grows in the clearings of the maquis of Kizilkadag mountain near Korkuteli (western Anatolia). This species appear to be very rare and localized ( Brullo & Salmeri 2021).
