Remarks.
Introduced for Melanopsis nodosa sensu Cerulli-Irelli, 1914, non Férussac, 1822. Girotti (1972: 232) considered Melanopsis nodosa sensu Cerulli-Irelli, 1914 a junior synonym of " Melanopsis affinis Férussac”, which is not an available name.
