Material examined: Holotype BMNH RN CXXXII.2, Seychelles, Indian Ocean , 20 October 2005, 44 fathoms (80 m), ‘Sealark’ (slide only).
DNA sequences: CO1 Folmer fragment (GenBank accession no. EU146439 View Materials ) from QM G300611.
Remarks: The centrotylote swelling on the oxea is only slightly noticeable in this species. The oxea are often bifurcate at one or both ends ( Fig. 13C). Flanged ends to the oxea are also found in Higginsia bidentifera , Halicnemia verticillata and Paratimea dentata ( BELUM Mc 6884).
