Lectotype (Taylor & Taylor in Sida 10: 243. 1984): Herb. Linn. No. 998.1 ( LINN) .

Current name: Solidago sempervirens L. View in CoL ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Although Gray (in Proc. Amer. Acad. Arts 17: 177. 1882) noted the identity of 998.1 (LINN) and the cited Plukenet figure, he did not designate a type.
