Revised description. Medium-sized, robust, ovate shell; apical angle ~60–63°. Protoconch worn, of ~1.5 convex whorls. Teleoconch of up to five whorls. Suture weakly incised, shallowly undulating. Early teleoconch whorls weakly convex with broad, slightly concave subsutural ramp, faint mid-whorl angulation, coinciding with P1. Axial sculpture of about eight broad, widely spaced axial ribs. Subsutural ramp with weak IP, weaker adis and abis and a delicate tertiary cord intercalated on antepenultimate and penultimate whorls. Spiral cords weakly scabrose. Last whorl convex, weakly constricted, attaining ~75% of the total height. Up to nine prominent, broad, convex, prosocline axial ribs, arranged in spirals in apical view. Spiral sculpture of adis, IP, abis, P1–P6, s1–s6, s6 on siphonal canal, ads and ms occasional, ADP, MP, ABP and EAB1 of subequal strength with one or two delicate, granulose tertiary threads in interspaces; P5 most prominent delimiting base, ending at aperture in labral tooth. Fasciole swollen, twisted, delimiting very broad, shallow pseudoumbilicus. Aperture ovate; outer lip thickened, incised at labral tooth. Weak to subobsolete ID and prominent D1–D4 placed short distance behind peristome; D5– D6 weaker, placed below labral tooth. Anal canal weakly incised into thickened adapical tip of aperture; siphonal canal long, fused. Columella broadly excavated, smooth, strongly twisted at siphonal canal. Columellar callus forming broad rim, sharply delimited from base, adherent in parietal area.

Discussion. Along with Ocinebrina bellissima sp. nov., this species is unique within Paratethyan assemblages due to its ovate shell and distinct labral tooth at P5. Attiliosa recognita ( Bałuk 2006) is superficially similar but differs in its open siphonal canal and lacks a prominent P5.

Paleoenvironment. Shallow marine, inner neritic.

Distribution in Central Paratethys. Badenian (Middle Miocene): Polish-Ukrainian Fore-Carpathian Basin: Zborów (Zboriv) ( Ukraine) ( Friedberg 1938); Bakony Mountains: Bánd ( Hungary) ( Kovács 2020); Făget Basin: Coşteiu de Sus, Lăpugiu de Sus ( Romania) ( Kovács 2019; hoc opus).

Proto-Mediterranean Sea. Serravallian (Middle Miocene): Karaman Basin: Seyithasan ( Turkey) ( Landau et al. 2013).
