Distribution: Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, NE Dem. Rep. Congo, Central African Republic.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Data Deficient.

Discussion: Holotype lost; neotype designated by Adam et al. (1993). Includes albatus; see Koopman (1989 b) and Adam et al. (1993).
