Monastir). – Grevillea robusta is a single-stemmed tree native to N New South Wales and S Queensland, Australia ( POWO 2024n). The species has been introduced to warm-temperate, subtropical and tropical regions around the world since the mid to late 19 th century and was widely planted in India, Sri Lanka, Central and South America and many countries in Africa ( Harwood 1989). It was then reported as naturalized in Africa, tropical Asia, Oceania, California, Florida and the West Indies ( Harwood 1997; Acevedo-RodrÍguez & Strong 2012; PIER 2015). In the Euro+Med area, the species is reported as a casual alien only in Italy ( Cambria & al. 2023; Galasso & al. 2024). For the Levant, the taxon is reported as present (introduced/cultivated) in coastal Lebanon and Palestine ( Dinsmore 1933: 482), for N Africa in the Canary Islands, Morocco, Algeria and Libya without information on its status of naturalization (APD 2024; CABI 2024). It is first recorded here from Tunisia, at the same time from the whole of N Africa, as a casual alien very locally escaped from cultivation and producing self-sown offspring. R. El Mokni
